Wednesday 3rd, Had to work late,(believe it or not) so missed the swim session.
Thursday 4th, did a 3.5 mile cross country run in Southwold late afternoon, would have been 3 miles but I didn't realise how many paths there are on those marshes and got slightly lost. then did a 6 mile 2 bridges run with the Rock estate boys, and a special appearance from local hotshot Polly Davies. avg pace 7.33/mile, avg HR 147 bpm. max HR 161 bpm. A nice steady run before going to the Gym for Boxercise, I cant believe hitting somebodies hand for 30 seconds is such hard work, arms and shoulders have been stiff for two days. finished off with another highly skillful game of basketball.
Friday 5th, rest day.
Saturday 6th, the weather was a bit better so went out on the road bike, did 29.6 miles in 1.29.26. generally nice and steady avg Hr was 135 BPM. max HR 149 bpm. did an extended round the island route, would have made an avg. speed of about 20mph but had to take a diversion through Beccles and got held up, (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it) avg speed was 19.8 mph.
I was a bit fed up when I got home thinking I'd done really well to get out and do a reasonably long ride to find out Asher and Gentry had been out and done 106 miles just for fun!
Sunday 7th, went to Thetford with Joe, we biked round the black run for about an hour and a half, nice and easy for me but good fun playing about in the mud and up and down the hills.
