2011 the blog is back!!

This will be the first blog of 2011, since the last blog in October last year I have been trying to maintain fitness levels and have still not been injured (touch wood) another winter doing a bit on the turbo trainer but not as much as last year, I've been riding on the roads most of the winter and am optimistic that it will not be long before Gloves, Hats, and overshoes will be put away for the summer. X country runs havn't been quite as regular as last year but I've done a few and a couple of timed runs on the pavement have been quite encouraging.
Swimming has been put on the back burner mostly but I've started doing one proper session per week since christmas and will start doing more now.

2011 has started well, Thursday night sessions have been excellent so far doing a bike ride round the town then straight into a run round the 2 bridges route.

The intensity of sessions has not been to hard so far but will soon start ramping up in preparation for the upcoming season.

I've already entered the usual local events this year, hopefully the Rock estate race team will be well represented at the events this year.

I'll start the blog with all the usual really interesting training details next week for those sad people like myself that sit at work in front of a computer reading a load of pointless crap posted by a slightly obsessed wanabe athlete!!!
